Basic education

In 2002 she graduated with honors from the magistracy of the Department of Genetics and Selection of the Biology and Soil Faculty of St. Petersburg State University with a red diploma.

From 2002 to 2007, she completed postgraduate studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, Germany (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität). She defended her thesis in 2006 in Munich and got a PhD degree.

In 2008 she defended her thesis at the Department of Genetics and Selection of St. Petersburg State University.

Additional Information

1998-2000 - Laboratory of Prenatal Diagnostics of the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology named n.a. Ott, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

In 2001-2002, she worked at the Russian Science Center of Radiology and Surgery Technologies n.a. Granov.

From 2009 to 2015 she worked at the Experimental Medicine Institute.

She is the scientific secretary of the St. Petersburg branch of the Vavilov Genetics and Selectioners Society, as well as the secretary of the editorial board of the Ecological Genetics journal.
